A Simulation Extension Role for Analysts who create geometry for simulations using parametric or direct modeling techniques
Simulation Geometry Modeler (SML) Extension Role adds capability a base role to enable users who have no access to CATIA geometrical modeler to get the minimum set of tools allowing the creation of simple geometries, surfaces and solids, using the best, market-proven, CAD modeler in the world. Simulation Geometry Modeler is an Extension Role for the following: Mechanical Analyst (SMU) Structural Vibration Analyst (SLD) Noise and Vibration Analyst (SAS) Fluid Mechanics Analyst (FLA) Finite Element Modeling and Assembly Specialist (SFM) Simulation Geometry Modeler adds to the values of these pre-requisite Roles. See the BFS documents for these base Roles for more information. Simulation Geometry Modeler does not duplicate any of the simulation-specific tools (geometry checker, mid-surface, automatic defeaturing, geometry import, etc.) available in these pre-requisite Roles.
