Durability and Mechanics Engineer (FGM)

Enables comprehensive structural simulations covering statics, implicit and explicit dynamics and fatigue to assess structural integrity of any type of product

The Durability and Mechanics Engineer role allows you to:

  • Perform physically realistic analyses with sophisticated modeling and meshing technology for a wide range of analysis types
  • Efficiently evaluate multiple design iterations through seamless associativity with parametric geometry
  • Define multistep structural scenarios to more realistically assess product performance under complex operational environments
  • Easily define intermittent or bonded mechanical contact across an assembly
  • Execute fatigue simulation to ensure engineering products are designed for durability and to minimize physical tests
  • Robustly perform results visualization and analysis to determine key product performance metrics
  • Perform parametric multi-objective design studies to drive performant product design iterations considering tradeoffs across various objectives
  • Run simulations leveraging up to 8 cores
